Australian Combined Schools Music Festival
The Australian Combined Schools Music Festival (ACSMF) is delighted to invite individual musicians from ten associated schools from around Australia, including invited schools from the host city.
The ACSMF presents three festival ensembles, including the Festival Symphony Orchestra featuring more than 80 players, the Festival Concert Band (Symphonic Wind Band) featuring more than 60 players, and the Festival Coir (Chorus) featuring more than 100 members.

Festival Orchestra
The Symphony Orchestra has previously studied works including 1812 Solemn Overture by Tchaikovsky, and Divertimento for Orchestra by Berstein.
Festival Concert Band
The Festival Concert Band (or Symphonic Wind Band) features more than 60 members. Repertoire is selected to challenge students, and often contains Australian content.
Festival Choir
The Festival Choir performs mostly traditional repertoire in four or more parts, with some repertoires exploring sign language. The Festival Choir often works with the Orchestra or Concert Band to produce combined items.
